Wharton, Texas - December 16th, 2014 - District Clerk Nerissa announced today the inclusion
of redacted court case information and images from the District Courts of Wharton County in an
Internet-based web site at www.idocket.com. Wharton County joins a growing consortium of counties
display court information on the Internet. The District Clerk's office has gone one step further,
ensuring that social security numbers are redacted from all documents displayed protecting public
confidentiality.
District Clerk Nerissa House states she is excited to offer this updated service
to the attorneys who practice in the District Courts of Wharton County and any other
individuals and entities that require this information. This also includes bail bondsmen
and of course the general public. "Court information will be easily available and accessed
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By making this service available, customer service will increase
and personal traffic and telephone requests are being reduced saving taxpayer dollars while still
protecting personal information," states District Clerk Nerissa House.
