Floydada, Texas – February 27th, 2018 - District Clerk Patty Davenport announced today the inclusion of redacted court case information and images from the District Courts of Floyd County in an Internet-based web site at www.idocket.com. Floyd County joins a growing consortium of counties to display court information on the Internet. The District Clerk's office has gone one step further, ensuring that social security numbers are redacted from all documents displayed protecting public confidentiality.
District Clerk Patty Davenport states she is excited to offer this updated service to the attorneys who practice in the District Courts of Floyd County and any other individuals and entities that require this information. This also includes bail bondsmen and of course the general public. "Court information will be easily available and accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By making this service available, customer service will increase and personal traffic and telephone requests are being reduced saving taxpayer dollars while still protecting personal information," states District Clerk Patty.
