Public May View Civil and Probate Case Information Using the Internet
Houston, TX July 1, 2001—The Texas based company, iDocket.com, LLC, has included information from Harris County in its multi-county database. The information can be viewed starting today at www.idocket.com.
The legal community and other interested parties can now stay up to date on cases by logging onto the web site. The court files are transported electronically to the iDocket.com server periodically then formatted and placed on the iDocket.com database. The database includes the court case information from all courts that are on the service. Searches can be done across court, jurisdiction or county and can be performed on name, attorney, offense, court, filing or disposition dates.
The data from Harris County will be combined with court case information from several other Texas Counties, including Potter, Hidalgo and Randall. The company has also recently contracted with Montgomery and Galveston Counties to place their case information online.
The public may access the database and perform name searches at no charge. A subscription package, which includes advanced search capabilities and case histories, is available for a monthly or annual fee. The company is also offering a free trial period for the subscription package. Interested parties may contact iDocket.com at (800) 566-7164 to begin the free trial.
