Technology Moves Willacy County Clerk Office Forward

County Clerk Terry Flores has purchased software technology that will improve office efficiency, customer service, and better support the judiciary.

Raymondville, Texas (November 17, 2009) - County Clerk Terry Flores announced today the installation of records management and judicial case management software for better management of Willacy Counties official public and judiciary records. The software, provided by iDocket.com, takes the clerks records from paper into the digital era and will greatly improve customer service and the overall management of the clerk's civil and criminal case records.

The records management software system called "Onyx" provides the clerk's office with efficient point of sale cashiering using modern touch screen technology. The software provides not only for the efficient management of the counties property records, but also for vital statistic records, marriage licenses and assumed names.

The civil, criminal and probate "Quartz" software system allows the clerks staff to enter, search, and maintain an automated case management system including court costs and fee collections. The system resolves any problems or issues surrounding new reporting requirements by the state Office of Court Administration.

Willacy County is one of the first in the Lower Valley of Texas to take full advantage of these advanced software products by iDocket.com.

County Clerk Terry Flores states she and her staff will be able to provide better overall services to the public as well as save taxpayer dollars through more efficient cost saving procedures. "Indexing, searching, and retrieving all records in our office certainly will be easier and faster saving time and money" states clerk Flores.
