Eastland County District Clerk Joins iDocket.com

Trial Court Case Information for 91st District Court Available Online

Eastland, TX October 30, 2000—Eastland District Clerk Bill Miears and iDocket.com have entered into an agreement to place trial court case information on the Internet. The information can be viewed starting today at www.idocket.com.

The agreement allows for the display of docket, index and other case items over the Internet. Eastland County becomes the fifth county in the state to join the web site.

Attorneys, Bondsmen and others in the legal community can now stay up to date on cases by logging onto the web site. Each night the court files are transported electronically to the iDocket.com server then formatted and placed on the iDocket.com database. The database includes the court case information from all courts that are on the service. Searches can be done across court, jurisdiction or county and can be performed on name, attorney, offense, court, filing or disposition dates.

The public may access the database and perform name searches at no charge. A subscription package, which includes advanced search capabilities and case histories, is available for a monthly or annual fee. The company is also offering a free 10-day trial period for the subscription package.

iDocket.com expends access to the public information and improves county productivity. It helped Potter County win the Best Practices Award from the Texas Association of Counties. The award recognizes innovation, effectiveness and efficiency in the areas of county government.
